Can you believe it? We’re at Thanksgiving again! Time certainly has gone by quickly.
I just wanted to write a short post this holiday taking time to recognize all I’m thankful for. I hope that by reading this post, you take time for yourself to give thanks and gratitude for what you have as well.
I just celebrated my 1 year with my boyfriend this past Sunday. I am thankful for him in so many ways! He’s become my best friend, and someone who I can fall back on when I need him most. I’m grateful that I have found someone that knows me inside and out. I only hope that everyone else can find a love like I have.
Listen 2018 has been quite the year for health. June I found out I had mono, August I got my wisdom teeth out, and recently I found out I had low iron levels and low zinc levels. Though these were small health issues compared to people who have it much worse, I am thankful for my body awareness and being able to take care of my health. So many people can’t afford to see the doctor for something as small as a cold. I try not to take my health for granted especially when others don’t have the chance to save their health.
Listen, I have the greatest jobs I could ask for. Not only are they rewarding, but I am able to support myself. Other people struggle daily just to put food on the table, and have to work double shifts to put their kid through school or keep a roof over their head. If you have a job, instead of complaining, be thankful.
Would I be human if I didn’t give thanks for family? It’s a given!
I hope you all enjoy your holidays, and take time to reflect on all of the great things your life has given you!
